My favorite Person

Pappa: Rono, who is your most favorite person in the whole world?
Rono: Mamma (By default), Much to my mummy's delight
Pappa: After Mama, who is your favorite person?
Rono: Pappa
Pappa: After Pappa?
Rono: Gappa/Gamma
Pappa: Next?
Rono: Jeetu
Pappa: After that
Rono: ( No response)

Coversations with Mama

Rono: Mama,You close your laptop
Rono: I will not let you work
Mama: I have to work, Rono
Rono: Why, Mama?
Mama: Because I have to earn money to buy your toys
Rono: I do not want toys
Rono ( second thoughts): We will take somebody’s else money


Mama: Rono dont twist that bangle, it will break....
Rono: Mama, it is made of metal, only glass breaks

Rono: The railing is so hot ( as I was climbing the staircase to my house).
Mama: That is because it is sunny
Rono: So, in the evening it will be cold

Rono: Mama, I am a bit sad
Mama: What Happened?
Rono: My balloon broke
Mama: We will buy a new one
Rono: Mama, you buy a new one…

Reward from school

One day I arrived from school in my van, and was holding a white stapled envelope, and as soon as I spotted Mama I gave it to her. On top of it was written, “Ronav, Reward for good work, to be eaten after lunch” and a smiley. Mom was delighted, and she asked me what I had done to get this reward.

Mama: Rono, what good work did you do?

Rono: I did naughty things in school.

Ofcourse the lollylop inside did not have to wait for after lunch and was consumed soon after.
